We were not attacked by Yugoslavia, yet we attacked them without UN approval. Are you saying that we should have gotten UN approval?

Granted. However, given another week or two and we probably end up with Turkish approval, though I suspect that we won't wait.

Remember Vietnam?

Based on what we saw in Afghanistan, I think that we have learned the lessons of Vietnam. We will strike with overwhelming force and we will not get bogged down.

Saddam is no immediate threat to anyone.

Tell that to the Kurds and to the people that our subject to his whims. Most will be dancing in the streets when he is gone.
