Tiger-- The UN did nothing while over a million Rwandans were slaughtered. The UN was completely ineffective while Muslims and Croats were slaughtered by the Serbs. The UN did nothing while war was being conducted within Iraq. Perhaps it is unfair to say it didn't give a rat's ass. But it certainly didn't give too much more than a rat's ass. Indeed, justify the record of the UN in each instance mentioned. I would be interested in the defense of that record. fred
