What is shortsighted in many folks' vision is the fact that if Bush defies, bullies and threatens the rest of the world, we won't get their help or sympathy if our country is attacked in retaliation
I can only assume "they" are shortsighted because you say so ?
I'd say you're quite shortsighted .... read it here first ... there will be terrorist attacks again on our soil and it has not a thing to do with Iraq, Bush or the UN.
That's the reality; we were told we were at war, remember ?
We are the enemy; we were told that also, remember ?
Secondly, to you, sympathy may matter; in reality, it matters not at all. Laying flowers on a sidewalk is great to fill CNN time, it is so PC to do; it will never bring back the dead.
The so called "help" we get from our "allies", I'm beginning to believe we can do without also.
We will no longer be on the short list of important allies.
You have got to be kidding me ? Who will protect the rest of the world, who will the appeasers tuen to when the enemy shows at their door, who supports their economies ? France ? I'm roaring here .... how ludicrous.
You continually post that we should basically "do nothing" because you personally fear retaliation. Your fear is for you to deal with; appeasement accomplishes nothing constructive.
You will see death and destruction on our soil whether you fear it nor not. You will see it if there is a war in Iraq; you'll see it if there isn't.
I find it interesting that the other day you publicly slandered our men and women in the service who protect your freedom on a daily basis; yet, in reality, they are the same ones who will one day save you from your own fear overcomes you.
Appease all you want, it's so PC.
In the end, that's exactly what others want you to do. You are their enemy; remember this always.
