When I said that the argument goes both ways, I meant that men on both sides of the abortion debate claim to know what's best for women.

Of course the women bear more responsibility simply because they physically have to bear the baby ... or the abortion (and the post-abortion trauma that follows). It's unfair, yes, but that only shows how much more responsibility men ought to take for their actions.
