No, but do you find it surprising when he is threatened by attack any day now?

Hey buddy... He wasn't disarming when we WEREN'T threatening to invade or oust him..

And only an idiot would deny that that the only reason he has given as much "grudging" cooperation as he has, is because THE US HAS THREATENED to invade.

In fact, were if not for the initiative of the Bush administration in forcing the UNSC to do it's job, there wouldn't even be UN inspectors in Iraq right now...

All of this is being facilitated by the military might of the US.. With Saddam's allies (which is really what they are) have done everything possible to fight a delaying action in hopes that the US will opt not to fight during the summer months..

But how wrong they are.. Obviously they've never been to the NTC at Ft. Irwin... Our boys will do it.. they'll hate every moment of it, but they'll do it...

And as the North African campaign proved during WWII, the victory will go to the side that possesses greater mobility and logistics (and water).
