<< Saddam is constrained, ... he's not accused ... of any active policies of genocide, of forced expulsion, of mass slaughter and rape. >>

What do you think that the statue of limitations should be, for those crimes? One week? Two weeks?

I've wondered about your motivation, for being so dead set against punishing Saddam for his crimes against humanity. You have an interesting concept of justice. You feel that Saddam is a good old boy, as long as he supposedly isn't "active" right now in mass murders.

<< Why is Saddam such a threat to the west, suddenly - what is it he can do which means he MUST be removed, now? >>

Saddam is a madman, who's main interests are biological, chemical and nuclear weapons, and he has used some of them on innocent people.

You seem to feel that the world is much safer, if someone that terrible is allowed to continue in power.

If we don't remove someone that dangerous from power now, then when? When it is too late?
