If we get another 100~bcf draw for next week that will be quite astounding.

I can tell you first hand I have seen fuel switching in generation, and combined with the conditions in NY area I am sure there was a large component of NG curtailed ( forced switching). But when I look at the NG draws and the #2 oil draws it does not appear to be showing up.

With the draws Robry is showing for this week, I suspect that the pipelines on the eastern half of the nation are getting packed as much as possible. Operators are going to be sure to restore deliverability, especially since we have another 2-4 weeks where serious demand could pop up.

Also spot prices are still $6+ across the board, which is higher than the futures strip. So this does not give an incentive to store now.
