Much weird news yesterday.
1. MABS exploded in florida
2. US/GB meet libyan envoy in iraq
3. Weird rummy remarks about britain which i think scared opponents of the war more than supporter with the spectre of totally go it alone US, out of control in their view.
4.Push for SC unity with some later ultimatum date that will be accepted by all?. UN/US need that if date not to far out.
5. US/Russian agreement on closing down plutonium creating nuke plants and many pro russian bills in congress being pushed thru.
6.30 year mortgages at 5.42 with talk of another 1/2 point fed rate cut as we head into double dip recession which could lead to deflation depression or slow growth forever ruining the world economy including france, russia and especially china leading to political instabilty around the globe.
7. Paul_philip confused and depressed last nite.

Dylan, "Something is happening and you dont know what it is, do you Mr. Jones?" Below is a dream i had last night based on the above factoids.

Perhaps, saddam frightened by his inevitable fate if war breaks out, convinced that bush(bombing florida) is totally mad(i am nearly convinced myself) allows a deal where he and his coterie of about 700, take up residence in Libya(thats saddam not bush--no jokes allowed), subsidized by the west with libya taken off the list of terror states with a deal on pan am bombing while saddam is granted immunity from prosecution living under american(note not french--would be oxymoron to be protected by france) protection in libya. Now that is the mother of all run on sentences.
Results. Dow up 1500 points in one week. Iraqi people overjoyed. US/France/Russia/england/ all take credit for their role in saddams peaceful departure. French say we stopped war. US says threat of war did it. Enough credit to go around. 20 years from now chirac and bush publish a book in which they admit this was all a grand plan to get saddam out peacefully for fear that he would have used those horrible weapons he does not have but that were later found in greater quantities and in more sophisticated form than anyone imagined. On to NK where the chinese are orchestrating Snooker 2.
