Should Blair take the UK out of the fray, it is not because Bush "lost" him; it would be as a result of internal UK domestic politics over which Bush has little control.

I'm not convinced that Blair will fall. He won the last vote decisively despite 122 Labor votes cast against him. The Tories are saving him, and they are much more principled and conservative. Don't look for the Tories to make political hay out of Blair's problems with his Labor colleagues.
