I dont know why they continue to make a big deal out of this. the area he is talking about is INFINTESIMAL in size measure in 10's of acres IF THAT compared to the HUGE artic wilderness. From the pictures I have seen it is basically a mesquitoe cover bog where not even the animals go. I dont know if it makes good economic sense to open it or not, but I do know it has no ecological effect worth arguing about. jdn
