No - I don't believe they WANT to but they do feel the NEED to do so. Maybe I am being naive but I find it hard to believe that a suicide bomber can say his goodbyes to his family without feeling regrets for what he is leaving behind.
...As for NEED - clearly the Palestinian population feel oppressed. And so they feel the NEED to fight back. Unfortunately, suicide bombing is the best means at their disposal.
