Jews represent 2% of the population, and most of them are middle class, even if somewhat affluent, not wealthy. Even granting disproportionate leverage, it is ridiculous to suppose that they are single- handedly shaping administration policy, especially when one contemplates that not all Jews think the same way, and most are not ordinarily hawks or Republican. Thus, to invoke the specter of "Jewish influence" as being baneful and mysteriously compelling, rather than hard won and a result of normal participation in the political process, is, indeed, verging on anti- Semitism. Only God knows what was in his heart......
