Iran may also try to rally the Islamics in the south. Could be a lot of Arabs willing to "martyr" themselves against our troops once we attack. Remember how they did it in Vietnam? Sadam has also passed out 7 million AK-47 type weapons to his people, men, women and kids. What are we trying to do, turn ourselves into Ariel Sharon's Israel? I also dread the prospect of Saddam blowing up the oil-fields. Bush should go in now and secure them ASAP. That might be a largely bloodless way of toppling Saddam. And would save us from a huge waste of money and awful pollution problem you'd be able to see from space. How about one MOAB on the royal palace and secure the oil-fields then wait to see what happens?
