Prior to 911, there was no evidence any of those hijackers intended harm. Do you think it might have been a good idea to watch them closely?

I think it's been shown that the FBI field offices and INS did have information. I said way back the FBI screwed up big time.

That's fascinating. I'm not exactly sure what to say on that....I suppose if you're pro-war, then you're thankful that 911 happened...so we can stop Iraq from distributing WMD to terrorists, which would result in a far greater death toll than 911. ....That, of course, assumes that a "victory" in Iraq would make any difference. Which is pretty naive.
