Sounds like blatant manipulation to me. Perhaps someone who has connections to the VSE should suggest they read the post. I have suspected as much. This is another example of the little guy getting screwed by these manipulators. The VSE is hurting in no small measure due to the fact that so much of this kind of crap is allowed to take place. In the US this would be considered a criminal act (no offense to Canadians - but to make this acceptable erodes our confidence in this market).
