You're correct. The Bush Administration made a grave mistake committing so many troops into that area. He needed only a sufficient force to boot up a strong and comprehensive inspections process. Now because of this mistake, our troops are suffering the fate you just described. I agree, it's gotta be very difficult for a soldier to move into a theater of war that the whole world opposes.

This is a problem on Bush's watch. Don't you think he'd look like a food were he to withdraw his army? Well, he probably thinks that also. Thus, a war which might not need be, might be.

What makes Bush look even worse in the box he's in, is all of the lies, distortions, fabrications, plagerized documentation and deletions of fact which he used in order to justify his behavior.

Frankly, he'd probably get more mileage and respect from people were he to simply admit he made a mistake, declare victory that the inspections and containment process is now underway, and spare our troops from having to kill people when they don't have to kill people.
