turn the no-fly zones into no-cross zones and flood the remainder of iraq with inspectors + armed escorts. let the blue-hats occupy the place for six months and literally turn over every rock there is. it'll take six-nine months, but there won't be any need to carpet bomb anyone and with all the foreigners running around saddam's own security will necessarily weaken. with any luck at all someone will use that as an opportunity to cap some permanent regime change into his ass, if you know what i mean. plus we get to look like great humanitarians to the rest of the world because of all the people that weren't killed and nobody can veto the resolution because that's what the vetoers are asking for. and, finally, the rest of us can get back to eating unpasteurized camembert sans guilt.
