Doesn't matter Victor. This thread is in denial.

Every time a giant behemoth has been taken out in technology it has happened from the bottom up, some company who didn't have the best solution but had a cheaper, simpler one took the business. It doesn't matter who makes more money it is all a market share game. Huiwei or the latest indian or chinese company du jour certainly doesn't have the best solution right now. But I can guarantee you they have a cheaper one, mostly because US based R&D is not competitive. With a robust stock market in the 90s and options, the US dealt with our extreme R&D costs of doing business by spreading the cost of these orgs to the millions of shareholders. Not a great solution according to investors now, but that was the approach. We don't have that option anymore. The question is, do we want Cisco, Intel, Msft to remain globally viable or not, there is only one way and that is to outsource more. Service can stay in the US but at much lower pay. jmo.
