<<not a reflection of government position.>>

I didn't say that it wasn't a reflection of the government position. It is - but one that is badly distorted by the ignorance and prejudice of a lone individual.

Another example of this is the current round of France bashing. Two days ago the Senate cafeteria did the French fries/ freedom fries thing. Yesterday that had spawned several staged protest - pouring French wine into the sewer, smashing a Peugot with a sledge hammer (legally - they owned the car).
...All silly, stupid stuff BUT... that is going to inspire yet another knuckle dragger to go one further. Quite possibly to the point where a French Canadian gets beat up ( or worse )-:. And I say this with great shame and sadness - it happens every time.

But Sun - I don't believe for a minute that the Senate cafeteria action was intended as a secret signal for literal French bashing.
