It's obvious you have your mind made up
Of course. Just like you.
The difference between you and I, of course, is that I have reached my decision on the issue after having looked at the realities of a woman's life in both Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
I won't confuse you with the facts.
WHAT FACTS???
I just posted an article where Nicholas Kristoff EXPLAINS CLEARLY, in a language I thought accessible to even the most feeble-minded among us, how women have better standing, rights, and lives in Iraq than in some other Muslims countries, Saudi Arabia in particular.
Iraqi women can drive, uncover their heads, have careers. Saudi women cannot. I hope that is simple enough for you.
So WHAT FACTS are you talking about???
Tell me - Are you REALLY INSISTING that women in Iraq live under worse conditions than their counterparts in Saudi Arabia, a US ally?
A simple "Yes" or "No" will suffice. If your answer to the question above is "Yes", prepare for a world of pain. I will then proceed to humbly oblige with your underlying request that I clobber you with the facts of a woman's life (real facts, as opposed to the delusions you call "facts") in these two countries.
Perhaps it will not be painful for you. Humiliation is hard to bear for those who have something to lose in the dignity department. |
