Saddam hasn't attacked anyone in 12 years. That's a long time. To say he's an imminent threat is wildly speculative. And the claims of his direct ties to terrorist groups dont hold water. Nor do the claims he's developing nukes.

Yes he probably has some WMD buried somewhere and we want them found and will find them. But that doesn't mean we need a 200 billion unilateral invasion where many thosuands of our troops could get killed. Saddam is laying many booby-traps for us now, passing out 7 million automatic rifles. It could be a meat-grinder trying to pacify that place. And Saddam may blow up his oil-fields which means we have to pay for everything. A huge reckless risk being taken here. Sorry.
