What if being for the support of
Israel puts the US at risk?

In fact, it probably does. Our strong support, both politically and economically, certainly increases the risk to US citizens of terrorism by Arab radicals. That's not to say we should change our policies. Sometimes doing the right thing is risker than doing the wrong thing. But we need to face the reality of the consequnces of those policies.
