Hi Mike......nice rally today (but...........)

I found this quote today from Joe Osha regarding semi inventory. See if it makes sense to you (or other readers).

____________

The Philadelphia semiconductor index (Philadelphia:^SOXX - News) rose 8 percent, with all 17 of its components, except for Motorola Inc. (NYSE:MOT - News), pushing higher. Motorola fell 3 cents to $8.01.

"For the first time in probably two years, you've got estimates that don't have to go down anymore, no inventory anywhere. And that is sufficient to cause money to tend to flow back into the group, assuming nothing bad happens," said Merrill Lynch semiconductor analyst Joe Osha.

We've burned up all the inventory?......Makes one reflect on bottom fishing in semis, right?

Steve
