Where are the echoed voices of pan-Arabian citizens calling for democracy? The last time America went on a campaign to bust up tribes, we resorted to the delivery of cholera-ridden blankets to those who didn't understand they had to be Americanized. Folks should read up on Chief Joseph, and see if they can find any parallels to what Bush is proposing to do in the Middle East.
