Long after Saddam has gone, billions of people will have a view of the United States that your children and my children will inherit as their legacy. We have discovered the perfect way to destroy the United Nations and set the stage for the era of the ugly, arrogant, simple minded American, and it will cost us in investment, trade, political influence and of course it will cost us by greatly increasing the risk of terrorism as far into the future as anybody can see.
