Volume

Yo c2po,

<< Jacobs was talking about "volume." You don't really think 70,000 handsets qualify as volume, do you? >>

No. But I do consider 700,000 - that's SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND, in several model versions, to a single customer (one of several to commercially launch this year regardless of scale), from two different manufacturers, using chipsets from two different foundries, delivered over the course of a few months to be "volume."

<< Perhaps when a second wave of handsets are announced....but who knows when that will be? >>

A total of 700,000 handsets made by Motorola and NEC will be delivered to the operators by the end of May.

Didn't you once try to pass yourself off here as a professional reader or suchwhat, and on another occasion assure us you were not dyslexic?

Of course, then again, you once tried to pass yourself off here as a Nokia shareholder.

Meantime, I thought you said you were observing Lent?

May I be so bold as to suggest that you be MORE observant.
