Well.. the Rep was telling you the truth.. but perhaps no the whole story. The symbol is ES`H HG on my data service. Otgher services probably use their future symbol for the root, with HG as the code.

The quotes were all over the map. The ask jumped from 9.50 to 19.25 when one contract was filled at 1:20:09 at the 9.50. It's a mess after that. At 2:38:05 the ask was taken out with contract at 10.50 and jumped to 19.25. At 2:46:47 an ask came in at 12.00 and was taken out in seconds with one more contract, and jumped back to 19.25 at 2:47:11. That stayed there until your trades went off at 3:13:56. At 3:25:59 it came back to earth with an ask of 13:25 and that was hit instantly. The ask worked its way down after that to 18.00 16.00 15.00 14.00. The 14.00 was hit at 3:48:32.

I made a copy of the time and sales but I can only do it as an image. If you need it, send me a PM with your email address and I'll forward a copy

It appears these things are terribly illiquid and subject to all sorts of wild swings. IMHO there are better options to trade, such as the SPX options at comparable prices with much greater stability.
