Let's see, who armed, funded, and trained Saddam's men? That would be the U.S. Rumsfeld was in Iraq selling chemical weapons components to Saddam in 83 so that Iraq could defeat Iran, WHILE Iraq was gassing the Kurds. Maybe that's coincidence. Maybe not. But either way, Rumsfeld could have at least said, "hey bad move with the gassing thing." Instead, the. U.S. remained Iraq's staunch ally for years.

That is, until the current U.S. OILigarchy assumed the throne in a third-world-style coup.
