I chose this story because it illustrated luridly the sickness of Saddam's family relations Unfortunately, it was obviously a work of fiction rather than journalism. "The prisoner's stomach churned with dread.", indeed... Perhaps this selection of press references will prove this point I hope you do not take this the wrong way, but I do not have the time to research those myriad references. There isn't even a link. If you find one especially relevant, post it and I will read it. Dismissing Saddam's monstrosities by bringing up the "incubator baby" story is way off base. I am not saying Saddam is a nice guy and neither do I have any opinion on the way he raises his sons. What I am questioning is the wisdom of believing in such obviously fictitious stories, especially as such stories (ex: "incubator babies") are known to rally public opinion for war.
