I try to post anything here that I can. Sometimes I miss trades though due to time constraints (read as order filled but I was tending the baby. No need to post a 1/2 hour late trade 30 cents off the current hour price). I pretty much cleared a bunch of stuff out in January and began February with the year 2003 goal of trading $1000 average profit a day and quitting for that day.

February cleared 24k.
March is on track thus far.

My positions are nothing exotic. I'm concentrating on a basic population of HD, TGT, AMAT (and other leading semi equips), DUK, MSFT, INTC. Things like that.

The only other thing I am tracking that would be noteworthy I guess is building positions/diversifying into some of the stocks that pay a dividend. Trying to buy 1000 low and sell 900 high. My thoughts: Any gain would: 1.) Offset the risk in the 100 shares held for long term 2.) All things considered would increase the effective yield. Based on my actual out of pocket costs.

Ones I've done this week and not posted anywhere. MER, MWD, LMT, BA, LAB, DHI, F (100 shares on the house with F), XLK, JPM.

Overall thesis: The economy is bad, it may get worse, some good stocks more than reflect bad economy and war risk, eventually it will get better, prepare for then (2004?), offset risk now while preparing.
