It has everything to do with terrorism. It is dangerous to allow a regime allied with terrorists build an arsenal of WMDs. There are countries that have stronger ties to terrorism that Iraq. Islamic fundamentalists are nearly as much a threat to Saddam as they are other parts of the world. North Korea would sell anything to anyone. We know that. Yet in our brilliance, we've cut off any source of trade with North Korea except for illegal weapons trade. You may think that's pretty clever. I have some doubts of that wisdom. Syria...you bet they have WMD... If there has been anything we've accomplished to date, it's that we have gotten North Korea and Iran to accelerate their WMD capabilities....those are the ones we know about publicly. The lesson the rogues of the world have learned through the examples of Iraq and North Korea: The sooner we get WMD, the better. jttmab
