From an ad perspective, the site has moved from several banner ads (top & bottom), several button ads (where the market update was) and several text ads to a single skyscraper & text piece.

We want to devote more real estate to content and allow quicker page loading while also generating advertising revenue, an important component of our business. So we've reserved a fixed 160pixel column on the right-side for that purpose. For premium members, we're thinking of using that space for added features or content.
