The whole purpose of separation of church and state was to preserve the rule of law and reason and to protect the rights and freedoms of humanity from religious prejudice and caprice. Before this occurrence we shared in the types of atrocities which you have cited... In my sense of values I have a responsibility to speak out against ideas which divide and destroy and trample on the rights of women, minorities, and those who only desire the freedom to believe what they will. Yes, I HATE those ideas...because those ideas KILL innocent people.
