I'm not trying to play thread cop. I was disputing your argument. Your argument was that bombing Serbia was different then attacking Iraq because Milosevic was a threat to all of Europe. But he flat out wasn't.

That statement is wild enough that I might have pointed it out even if you where using it to promote an idea that I agree with, but in this case I was participating in a discussion and we where on opposite sides. If you base your argument on such a wild idea I'm just supposed to ignore it?

I don't understand this idea that I should somehow be compltly objective. I'm participating in the debate along with everyone else. I am not in any position of authority, and even if I was I wouldn't use it. I'm just trying to have an interesting discussion. If I was an SI admin and I suspended you for saying something like that then your point would be valid (other people have also made wild exagerations or innacurate statements), but I'm not and I didn't. I'm just participating in the debate.

If instead of arguing about your ideas I was putting you down for insulting others, while ignoreing other people's insults again you might have something of a point, although perhaps not a strong one, because I am not the thread cop, self appointed or otherwise.
