HOUSTON, July 30 (Reuter) - Compaq Computer Corp said
Wednesday it unveiled a new Armada 7300 line of mobile notebook
computers.
The Armada 7300 models should be available in August, the
company said, at prices ranging from $4,399 to $4,899.
The standard features on the 7300 models include Pentium
processors with MMX technology at speeds of up to 166-MHz, 2.1
Gigabyte (GB) hard drives, up to 32 Megabytes (MB) of random
access memory (RAM) standard and video/graphics performance,
the company said.
The new model, part of the Armada 7700 family, is about
1.5-inches thin and weighs about six pounds.
