Marc Fortier: WPL. Yes, might be an interesting company. Too tough for me to evaluate as a buy though.

Assets under management are $7.7B. WPL market cap is $.745B. That is way, way too high a market cap for the assets managed. (Rough and dirty comparison for asset managers that I use. Ignores the types of assets they might be managing and fees they get.) Looking at Yahoo and WPL website, I don't see any convincing evidence for a purchase.

Jmo, and as you know, I'm wrong many, many times, and I could be wrong about WPL too.
