I agree that the yuan will not remain pegged to the dollar indefinitely. If/when the US economy starts to show signs of re-inflating, the Chinese will cut it loose, since they won't then be as dependant on keeping their own currency artificially low to maintain market share. That should be a very bullish development for gold.
