I bought my own Glock .40 on Sept 11, 2001. I look forward to the opportunity to defend my family with it. I have a permit to carry and do often. I have a running fanny pack that I wear while running I love dogs, but three weeks ago I was out running on a county road and three large dogs came out into the road, crossed the road to attack me. I killed one and wounded another...missed the third one. The owner called the police. The police said the runner (me) was justified in his actions. (The owner has since called me and threatened me, but that is another issue) A dangerous looking armed man, running at me / my family, no different than an attacking dog...same result. Love that .40 S&W cartridge.
