You can check the figures fairly easily. How many civilians died in the firebombing of Dresden in WWII? How many died in Hiroshima or Nagasaki? And so you won't think I'm being one-sided about this, how about the ratio of civilian to military dead in London due to the Nazis' bombs?

Of course I am not saying that we shouldn't have fought WWII, nor am I bashing our soldiers. The fact that more civilians than soldiers have died in wars since WWI is due to a major advance in warmaking; aerial bombardment.

It is not possible to lob bombs on cities from thousands of feet in the air, or to shoot missiles from hundreds or thousands of miles away, and not kill innocent bystanders. To be sure, our military will not deliberately target civilians, as the terrorists do. But that doesn't change the fact that when you're dropping bombs like the MOAB, which is capable of leveling buildings a mile away from the point of impact, there's no such thing as "pinpoint accuracy."

You can believe what you want to believe. I'm basing my statements on well documented history.
