Tom more food for thought.

From Internet magazine and courtesy of International Data Corp. here's the growth
rates

---------------------------------

1) for network computers:

1996 - 706 million dollars
2000 - 15,440 million dollars

Growth rate - 116%

----------------------------------

2) for servers:

1996 - 2,200 million dollars
2000 - 13,150 million dollars

Growth rate - 56%

---------------------------------

3) for personal computers:

1996 - 5,511 million dollars
2000 - 16,200 million dollars

Growth rate - 31%

---------------------------------

These are global rates. Remember Peter Lynch's adage about playing growth indirectly. Well APCC is an indirect route to play this growth. Profitable niche. International areas need the protection. Servers and Symmetra fit nicely.

(sidebar: Tom sorry no information on OE. The only orbital I know is Orbital Sciences which was profiled in the book Quantum Companies. Had it on my list of stocks to investigate but never bothered to go any further. Good luck.)
