Clever little bastage ain't I? Probably, but not because of Saddam and Hans Blix are telling us that they have no such weapons. What are you worried about? You'll find no posts from me extolling Saddam's virtues or his lack of such weapons. If I ask for those articles I won't get them. I don't have time to play gopher for you, but the articles I mentioned appeared here (on this board), and were associated with the argument that this war couldn't be about oil. Securing these oil wells are probably a high priority in the strategy And this strategy is of course known by Saddam. So a "best" scenario would not require it to take very long. Not saying it can't happen (Predicting what will happen in a war, is hazardous), just saying I wouldn't bet on it. We are not talking about fifty cents per gallon gas here. At twice that, some economies will be hurting. arguing this with half a heart I believe I understood the motivation for your "provacative" statements - that's why I answered. lurqer
