President Bush should agree to stationing in Iraq permanent weapons inspectors, permanent peacekeepers and make the entire country a No-Fly zone. It would also be important to get the surrounding Arab nations on board with this plan, so that they can help support the plan. It would be likely they'd support this as an alternative to a war which could destabilize the region.

Essentially, the above is the French plan. Rather than accept this, Bush turned the nation of France--which on the day following 9/11 introduced into the United Nations the resolution that created a worldwide coalition against terrorism--into an enemy of America.

Bush is dangerous and has no interest in peace. This is unfortunate for people and other living things.
