At twice that, some economies will be hurting.


If Mexico and the other oil producing economies that you
are worried about are going to give Shrub the vote, I would
think they would know what price they could operate at.
They aren't voting Yes without getting something in return.

I don't know what number that is. You don't know what that
number is. But I would think they would have an idea.

I would think they put some effort into figuring out the
costs of war.

Once again:
some economies will be hurting.

Whose?

Will it offset the rest of the us who benefit?

A good part of the world is made up of consumers and
producers. Not oil companies.

I've read a lot of articles on the high cost of this war
but I haven't seen any that give detailed numbers as to how
much of it will be offset by Iraqi oil. There are
billions of dollars in the ground. It's the same oil that
was paying for Saddam's palaces. Let that money pay for
nation building. If he torches the wells they can be
rebuilt.

At what cost? I dunno. I bet some accountant in DC knows.
If he doesn't I bet one of Cheney's buddies probably does...
