llmarinen, I suspect it is a genetic heritage and springs from who was the main enemy. People like the Eskimos war a lot less on each other since the enemt is nature and not fellow man. Tropical Africans have the highest level of hate they meighbour effect. They call it factionalism. the climate was not the enemy, any other African tribe was the enemy, they would take you food/water/women. Today these maters are far more dominant in their psyche than in cool climates. Over lay that will experience with democracy and you end up with the only succesful democracies are in the cold northern climates. It may be found that African genes have a very high follow the strong man gene in there. People who act tribally are unlikely to elect strong democracies. Bill
