Keep talking, your hole is getting deeper. Any tragedy befalling our troops at the hands of SadDam, would be SadDam's fault, and Bush would NOT be responsible(I say, it truly can't be otherwise). SadDam could end this tomorrow by taking strong affirmative action to disarm, instead of asking to talk about it some more(his slogan will need to become "just do it").
Fools rushed in to NYC on 911. SadDam, a fool in many respects, rushed in to Kuwait 12 years ago. SadDam, rushes now to hide his assets when the world has called for him to show and fold his hand.
After 12 years of non-compliance, this is hardly a rush to war. The reason IS the threat of terrorism, and the obvious attempt to delude us by SadDam.
If you had a leg to stand on when you attempt to assure me that 2 years 'til an assassination and an inspection box in the meantime would solve all without the loss of one American life, I might agree with you. But, you don't, its just talk which flies in the face of the actions of SadDam, and what makes him gleeful(even when we DO do nothing) to boot.
Winning in Iraq will lessen the terrorist threat for numerous reasons, not the least of which is that it would bring an end to another educational breeding ground of hatred.
You are against hatred, I'm sure. Right? May it breed no more.
