Yes, I have followed this funny thing about CNN and C-SPAN for some 20 years, both actually
start with a C.
However, C-SPAN, and thus the US congress, both house and senate, hearings, every Bush speach,
Ari Fleisher, Rumsfeld and much more, is, exactly for the reason you quote, available over
internet

Has been for almost 10 years, as some, sorry, many local cablecompanies made it a principle to
make sure the US citizens do not watch their own congress.

However, for all those years, the US congress, plus all the rest of government, has been available
on the other side of the globe..
Btw, it does not even help claiming "do not have time" as most important (well, suitable)
programs are archived for 1-2 months, some for ever. |
