The local Ron Paul contingent was well represented at the Peace rally. He's considered one of the purest libertarians in Congress. Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee asked veterans to come forward, that resulted in a large crowd including a couple dozen WWII veterans. She made the point about how well this crowd represented America. It was not a particular demographic. There were old and young, different races, and vastly different political outlooks. The one thing they had in common is they thought that George W. Bush had taken a big step into the stupid end of the pool. TP
