What's funny is that we don't even know if our "friends" are lying to us. And we're perfectly happy to kill tens of thousands of people guided by misinformation. or he was asked to reveal classified information..... It seems reasonable to toss that one out. His answer could have easily been "I can't discuss that in this forum." Though your phrasing is interesting. It does suggest that Powell could be lying to a member of Congress on matters that put American Forces in harm's way. No biggie for you folks. There's a long history of Republican Administrations lying to Congress...but that's what pardons and suppressing Presidential papers by EO are for. jttmab
