FL - One input for the production of electricity is natural gas. It is a key price factor for generating Summer season cooling demand electricity. We are in deep trouble with NG supplies, so expect plenty of company suffering this Summer with high prices. California is particularly exposed to NG prices because of the amount of generation it has that uses NG.
