what you might consider "Palestine" consists of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, territory that was part of Egypt and Jordan respectively until '67. i don't know what you consider a Palestinian "is" however, I don't recall either of these nations allowing such Palestinians to form their own nation before 1967. In fact, i'd bet that both of those nations are probably not unhappy about losing the territory, and, can you advise me if they've ever asked for it back ? remember, Israel gave the Sinai back... Gaza ? hah, the Egyptians wouldn't want it back...do you have any inkling why that might be?
